Pulley shroud covers the pulley and provides a guide route for the cable. It keeps the cable fromsliding off the pulley. For low pulley exercises, the pulley cable often slides off the low pulley, creating damage to the cable, to the pulley, and interrupting the exercise. This will keep the cable from coming off.
